                                  La Coveta Fuma - just 30 minutes from Alicante Airport

La Coveta Fuma is a small Spanish village nestling in a beautiful green valley between Alicante & Benidorm. Traditionally Spanish & totally unspoilt Coveta Fuma has safe, sheltered coves that are perfect for children and a sprinkling of Bars & Restaurants in the village square. It's laid back & peaceful-but not remote, in fact the main Coastal Railway linking Alicante in the North to Denia in the South is just a short stroll away. It’s fast, reliable and gloriously cheap and the views are breathtaking, passing through countless towns & villages, Villajoyosa, Altea, Calpe as well and Benidorm with its non stop nightlife & Alicante with its bustling cosmopolitan harbour, promenade and designer shopping. You can visit a different village every day, shop at the colourful markets, relax on the endless beaches. The spectacular Theme Park 'Terra Mitica' &  Terra Natura, plus the water Parks Aqualandia & Mudomar are also just a short trip away by car or train, so if thrills & spills are your passion, or shopping, beachcombing, exploring.... Just hop on the air conditioned train.

Coveta Fuma village square and the numerous secluded coves scattered along the coast are just a few minutes stroll from the villas & Apartments. There are several restaurants in the main village square, Dutch, Chinese, English and Spanish - open all year- and a few beachside restaurants open during the summer season. If you are a large group and you are holidaying together to celebrate a special event, a Birthday, Anniversary.. Or even a Wedding - We have had two weddings..  just let us know, the restaurants can organise a special meal for you all,  and its just a short walk home!

El Campello is the nearest town, just a few stops on the train, it has a wonderful sandy beach as well as numerous shops, banks, internet cafes, restaurants and bars along the palm lined promenade and harbour.

A Golfers Paradise

There are over fifteen 18 hole golf courses in the Costa Blanca, all within a 2 hour drive of Alicante. The following 4 are within a 30 minute drive of Los Cantaros.

Alenda Golf Club. Situated on the outskirts of Alicante at the foot of the Sierra de las Aguilas mountains, the Alenda Golf Club has an 18-hole spread over a gentle terrain giving a par of 72.

Alicante Golf Club. Located in San Juan On the outskirts of Alicante City close to the 7km San Juan beach is a modern 18-hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and opened in 1998.

Bonalba Golf Club. Stunning views are part of the package with this 18-hole golf course. Situated on the outskirts of Alicante City at the back of the golden sands of San Juan beach, the course can be enjoyed year round.

Real de Faula Golf Club. Real de Faula Golf Club offers two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses, and is the most exciting new golf club project on the Costa Blanca for almost 10 years. The North Golf Course (championship) is Par 72 and 6626 metres. This golf course, whose features are typical of Nicklaus designs, is an American style course with broad fairways, and exquisitely moulded greens; it is more than 6,612 meters long. Players on this course can enjoy marvelous views of the Mediterranean, and the Finestrat mountain range. And the South (Executive)golf course is Par 62 and 3858 metres.


A car is not necessary as Coveta Fuma is on the main coastal railway and is an excellent base for exploring numerous coastal villages,  but If you hire a car you can head inland and make for the mountains, Aguas with its charming village square & Busot with its famous caves.  Further out there’s the Jalon Valley - a visit to the Hallelujah Bar is highly recommended- But not for the driver! And the 17th Century fortress Guadalest with its magnificent castle and ancient streets is not to be missed , as are 'Les Fonts de L'Algar', a stuningly beautiful setting of tiered lakes filled with waterfalls from natural sprigs, icily cold but invigorating- Take a picnic and spend the day..  .....Its perfect.


For shopaholics there is a market nearly every day of the week in one or more of the villages and they are usually on the beach! and  there's Alicante with its exclusive designer  boutiques and shoes to die for..


For nightlife Benidorm cant be beaten, There is something for everyone there, all ages and all tastes, There's the old town with its cobbled streets and intimate clubs, and Disco Benidorm for the serious clubbers and there is the 'Strip' masses of bars with cabaret shows featuring non stop entertainment, live bands, comedians, dancers..... You name it - its there!


For beaches, you are spoilt for choice. Coveta has its pretty coves and El Campello a wide sweeping expanse of sand and as El Campello ends San Juan begins and then its soft safe sandy beach for as far as the eye can see - in fact all the way to Alicante and the train literally stops on the beach!
